Rattan pendant lamp with a flowing shape

The Wave pendant lamp has an open shade made from woven rattan. The edge follows a flowing shape around the lamp and gives the Wave its recognisable design. When the lamp is switched on, the light shines through the woven rattan and creates beautiful shadows on the walls and ceiling.

With a size of 75 x 75 x 28 cm, this is a spacious pendant lamp for above a dining table, in the living room or in a large hallway. Because of the open woven structure, the light bulb remains partly visible and the light can shine through the rattan.

The lamp has a black metal ceiling cap and a 200 cm cotton cord. Within the Wave collection, you will find different sizes, so you can choose a version that suits the place where you want to hang the lamp.

Wave collection

The Wave collection consists of handmade rattan pendant lamps in different sizes. The flowing shape returns in all models and is inspired by vintage lamp designs.

The lampshades are woven by hand. This means small differences in shape, colour and weaving may occur. These details are part of the use of natural rattan and the handmade character of the lamp.

Material

For the lampshade, we use natural rattan. Rattan grows as a climbing plant in tropical areas in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. The material is strong and flexible, which makes it very suitable for hand weaving.

Rattan is also light and strong, making it suitable for furniture and lamps that last a long time. For our Wave lamps, craftspeople weave the rattan by hand. Small differences in colour, shape and weaving are part of the natural material.

The Wave pendant lamp has an E27 fitting and is suitable for a light bulb of up to 60 watts. The lamp comes without a light bulb. The cotton cord is 200 cm long and is combined with a black metal ceiling cap.

Maintenance

Dust the rattan shade regularly with a dry cloth, soft brush or feather duster. Do not use harsh cleaning products and avoid making the rattan too wet.

It is best not to hang the lamp directly next to a heater, air conditioner or other heat source. Rattan is a natural material and can react to major changes in temperature and humidity.

Rattan pendant lamp with rounded shapes

The rounded shapes of the woven rattan give the Saturn its recognisable design. Because of the open weave, the light can shine between the rattan and creates a pattern of light and shadow around the lamp.

Pendant lamp made from natural rope

The Corda pendant lamp has a wide, low shape with an open rope weave. A thicker woven edge runs around the shade and highlights the shape of the lamp.

With a size of 60 x 60 x 29 cm, you can hang the Corda above a dining table, in the living room or in a spacious hallway. Because of the open weaving, the light bulb remains partly visible and the light can shine out around the lamp.

This is the smaller version within the Corda collection. Looking for a larger size? The pendant lamp is also available in 80 x 80 x 37 cm.

You can also hang the two sizes together. Combine them above a long dining table or hang them at different heights for a more playful look.

Corda collection

The Corda collection consists of pendant lamps made from natural rope in two different sizes. The wide shape, open weaving and woven edge return in both versions.

Because the rope is woven quite openly, the lamp changes as soon as you switch on the light. The light shines through the strands and projects the woven pattern onto the surrounding area.

Material

For the Corda pendant lamp, we use natural rope. The coarse structure of the material remains clearly visible in the weaving and gives the lamp its recognisable look.

Because we work with a natural material, small differences in colour, thickness and structure may occur. The weaving may also vary slightly from one lamp to another.

Maintenance

Dust the lampshade regularly with a dry cloth, soft brush or feather duster. Do not use harsh cleaning products and avoid making the rope too wet.

It is best not to hang the lamp directly next to a heater, air conditioner or other heat source. Natural rope can react to major changes in temperature and humidity.

Prefer a smaller size? The Corda is also available in 60 x 60 x 29 cm. You can also hang the two sizes together, for example above a long dining table or at different heights.

Corda collection

The Corda collection consists of pendant lamps made from natural rope in two sizes. Both versions have the same wide shape, open weaving and thicker edge around the shade.

You can use the different sizes on their own or combine them. Depending on the space, choose one large Corda lamp or hang several together.

Material

For the Corda pendant lamp, we use natural rope. The coarse texture of the material remains clearly visible and gives the lamp its recognisable woven look.

Skilled craftspeople make the shade by hand. Because we work with a natural material, small differences in colour, thickness and texture may occur. The weaving may also vary slightly from one lamp to another.
