Large pendant lamp made from natural rope
The Corda pendant lamp has a wide, low shape with open weaving. A thicker woven edge runs around the shade and remains clearly visible when the lamp is hanging.
Measuring 80 x 80 x 37 cm, this is the larger version of the Corda. Its size makes it a good choice for above a large dining table, in the living room or in a spacious hallway.
The open structure keeps the light source partly visible. Once the lamp is switched on, light shines through the rope and creates a beautiful pattern around the lamp.
Prefer a smaller size? The Corda is also available in 60 x 60 x 29 cm. You can also hang the two sizes together, for example above a long dining table or at different heights.
Corda collection
The Corda collection consists of pendant lamps made from natural rope in two sizes. Both versions have the same wide shape, open weaving and thicker edge around the shade.
You can use the different sizes on their own or combine them. Depending on the space, choose one large Corda lamp or hang several together.
Material
For the Corda pendant lamp, we use natural rope. The coarse texture of the material remains clearly visible and gives the lamp its recognisable woven look.
Skilled craftspeople make the shade by hand. Because we work with a natural material, small differences in colour, thickness and texture may occur. The weaving may also vary slightly from one lamp to another.
Maintenance
Dust the lampshade regularly with a dry cloth, soft brush or feather duster. Avoid harsh cleaning products and do not make the rope too wet.
Avoid hanging the lamp directly next to a radiator, air conditioner or other heat source. Natural rope can react to large changes in temperature and humidity.
