Wooden bedside tables by Raw Materials

Discover the wooden bedside tables by Raw Materials, made from FSC Recycled-certified wood. The collection includes different designs with drawers, doors or open compartments, making it easy to choose a bedside table that suits both the space next to your bed and the items you like to keep close at hand.

Place a table lamp, book, alarm clock or glass of water on top and use the storage space for glasses, chargers, toiletries and other smaller belongings. Whether you are looking for a wooden bedside table with a drawer, a bedside cabinet with doors or an open design, each model offers its own practical storage solution.

Bedside tables made from FSC recycled wood

Several of our bedside tables are made from FSC Recycled-certified wood. Existing timber is reused to create new furniture, giving the material a second life and reducing the need for newly sourced wood.

The recycled wood already has a history of its own. Colour variations, visible grain, small cracks, previous repairs and other original markings may remain visible. These differences are part of the material and mean that every wooden bedside table is slightly different.

Farmwood, Factory and Scrapwood bedside tables

Each collection has its own design and storage layout. The Farmwood bedside table features one drawer, two doors and additional storage behind the doors. Smaller items can be kept in the drawer, while books, toiletries and other belongings fit neatly inside the cupboard.

The Factory bedside table has an open compartment instead. This keeps a book, magazine or charger easy to reach. The original structure and markings of the recycled wood remain visible wherever possible.

With the Scrapwood bedside table, the history of the timber plays an even more visible role. The recycled wood comes from old houses and buildings in South-West India. Old paint, colour differences and signs of previous use may remain visible, giving every piece its own individual appearance.

Bedside table with drawer, doors or open storage

The best storage layout depends on what you want to keep next to your bed. A bedside table with a drawer is useful for glasses, a phone charger and other small items. Doors help keep larger belongings out of sight, while an open compartment is practical for books and magazines you want to reach easily.

Also consider the overall size of the bedside table. Measure the available space next to your bed and make sure there is enough room to open drawers and doors fully.

What height should a bedside table be?

A bedside table is usually most comfortable to use when the top sits around the same height as the top of your mattress. This makes it easy to reach a lamp, phone, book or glass of water from bed. A slightly higher or lower bedside table can also work, depending on the height of your bed and your personal preference.
