Farmwood sideboard made from recycled wood
Use the sideboard for tableware, glasses, table linen, books or other items you prefer to keep neatly stored away. The two top drawers are useful for smaller items, while the cupboards below provide space for larger pieces.
Measuring 120 x 38 x 90 cm, the sideboard fits easily against a wall in the living room, dining room, hallway or kitchen. The top also gives you enough space for a lamp, vase, bowl or a few decorative items.
From the Farmwood collection
This sideboard is part of our Farmwood collection. The collection includes more furniture made from FSC-certified recycled wood, including dining tables, benches, cabinets and other sideboards.
For Farmwood, we use wood that has already had a previous life. Old signs of use, colour differences and repairs remain partly visible, giving every piece its own appearance.
Material
For the Farmwood collection, we use FSC-certified recycled wood from old houses and buildings in South-West India. This includes beams, floorboards and other wooden structures that we reuse to make new furniture.
We select the wood for usability and sand and brush it where needed. Knots, cracks, colour variations and old repairs may remain visible. These marks show the history of the wood and are part of the material.
The FSC Recycled label confirms that the wood comes from reclaimed sources. By reusing existing timber, we give the material a second life in a new piece of furniture.
Maintenance
Wipe the sideboard with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products and do not leave moisture on the wood for too long. We recommend using coasters under glasses, vases and plant pots.
Wood naturally reacts to changes in temperature and humidity. Keep the sideboard away from radiators, air conditioners and other direct heat sources. Small cracks or changes in the wood may develop over time and are part of the natural behaviour of solid recycled wood.
