Material
The wood used for the Farmwood collection is sourced from old houses and buildings and carries FSC certification. After the beams are reclaimed, each piece of wood is carefully hand-selected for its quality, texture, and appearance.
During production, the natural characteristics of the wood are preserved as much as possible. Knots, cracks, and other signs of previous use remain visible, highlighting the history and authenticity of the material. The wood is only sanded and brushed, without extensive refinishing, allowing its original character to remain intact.
Because reclaimed wood is a natural material, every serving board differs slightly in colour, grain, and texture. These variations are part of what makes each piece unique.
