Garden chair and dining chair in one
The Jane has an open woven seat and backrest. The slim frame and woven design keep the chair light in shape, while making it practical for everyday use at the table.
The chair measures 42 x 45 x 89 cm and has a seat height of 47 cm. This makes it easy to place at most dining tables and garden tables. Use it on the terrace, under a covered patio or indoors in the dining room.
This Jane version has a black frame and is also available in natural. This allows you to choose the colour that best suits your garden, terrace or interior.
Material
To make the Jane chairs suitable for outdoor use, we chose synthetic rattan. This material has the look of rattan, but is better suited to outdoor conditions.
Our production partner in Indonesia works with synthetic rattan made from High Density Polyethylene, also known as HDPE. This is a non-toxic synthetic material that is waterproof and highly UV-resistant.
HDPE is light, strong and resistant to high temperatures. It is also resistant to various chemical solvents. Polyethylene is a widely used plastic and is recyclable.
Maintenance
Clean the chair with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning products and avoid hard brushes that could damage the woven material.
Although the chair is suitable for outdoor use, we recommend storing it in a sheltered place during longer periods of bad weather or in winter. This helps keep the chair looking good for longer.
Using the Jane indoors? You can simply clean it like a dining chair. Small differences in weaving and finish may occur from one chair to another.
