Mango wood bedside table with drawer
Use the drawer for glasses, chargers and other smaller belongings you like to keep beside the bed. The open lower shelf provides space for books, magazines or a small storage basket.
The top has room for a bedside lamp, alarm clock, book or glass of water. At 50 cm wide, this wooden bedside table provides practical surface and storage space without taking up unnecessary room next to the bed.
You can also use it elsewhere in the home. Place it beside an armchair as a wooden side table or use it as a compact table in a guest room or home office.
Beachwood collection
This mango wood bedside table is part of our Beachwood collection. The collection has a light wood colour with a warm undertone and a coarse, elongated grain that remains clearly visible.
Beachwood was inspired by driftwood that has been exposed to sun, salt water, wind and waves over many years. These elements give wood a faded colour, long grain patterns and a slightly rougher texture. This look formed the basis for the finish of the collection.
During production, each piece goes through several stages. Skilled craftspeople shape, inspect and finish the wood by hand without hiding its natural structure. As every piece of wood is different, the furniture may vary slightly in colour, grain and texture.
The light colour makes the collection easy to combine, while the coarse wood structure allows the timber to retain its weathered appearance. This combination of light wood and a slightly rougher finish gives Beachwood its recognisable look.
Mango wood
We use mango wood for this bedside table. Mango trees are primarily grown for their fruit. When older trees produce fewer mangoes over time, they can make way for new planting and the timber can be used to make furniture.
This gives the wood a second life after fruit production. The trees are therefore not grown solely for furniture production.
Maintenance
Wipe the wood with a dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products. Do not leave moisture on the surface for long periods.
Wood naturally reacts to changes in temperature and humidity. Avoid placing the bedside table directly next to a radiator, air conditioner or other heat source. Small shrinkage cracks may develop over time and are part of the natural movement of wood.
