Wide rattan pendant light
With a diameter of 61 cm, the Stella has a fairly wide shade while remaining relatively low at 36 cm high. This makes it a good size above a dining table, but it also works well in a seating area or living room.
The rattan is woven with an open structure. When the light is switched on, it shines through the weave and creates patterns of light and shadow on the walls and ceiling. During the day, the woven structure of the rattan remains clearly visible.
Dark lines run around the shade and add contrast to the natural rattan. This makes the Stella easy to combine with both light and darker wood tones and other natural materials.
Materials and specifications
The shade is made from rattan. The lamp has a 200 cm fabric-covered electrical cord, an E27 fitting and a black metal ceiling canopy.
The fitting is suitable for a light bulb of up to 60 watts. The light bulb is not included.
Rattan
Rattan is a climbing palm mainly found in the tropical regions of Southeast Asia. Its long and flexible stems have been used for generations to make baskets, furniture and lampshades.
As rattan is a natural material, small variations in colour and texture may occur. This means each light can look slightly different.
Maintenance
The rattan shade requires very little maintenance. Regularly dust it with a soft, dry cloth, feather duster or soft brush. Avoid harsh cleaning products and do not make the rattan too wet.
