This original folding table is made from FSC-certified reclaimed hardwood. Traditionally, these tables were used at weddings, festivals, and other gatherings in India. After each event, they were folded up and transported to the next location.
The table has a weathered appearance with visible scratches, markings, and colour variations. These signs of use have developed over many years and are part of the character of the reclaimed wood. In our workshop in India, each table is carefully inspected and restored where necessary. Damaged boards are replaced using wood from other old tables, preserving the original character and construction.
Thanks to its folding design, the table is easy to move and can be stored compactly when not in use. When folded, it measures only a few centimetres in thickness, making it ideal for situations where storage space is limited. Two iron locking bars underneath the tabletop secure the legs during use. Simply slide the bars into the pre-drilled holes in the legs to keep the table stable and secure.
The table can be used both indoors and outdoors and is suitable as a dining table, outdoor table, event table, or additional table for hospitality venues and events. Because each table is made from reclaimed wood, variations in colour, finish, and signs of use are to be expected.

Material
The table is made from FSC-certified reclaimed hardwood combined with metal components. As reclaimed materials are used, colour, grain, texture, and finish will vary from table to table.
Maintenance
For indoor use, we recommend treating the wood twice a year with teak oil or wood oil. When used outdoors, the wood can be treated at the beginning and end of the season. Metal components can be protected with lacquer or linseed oil.
