Wooden sideboard with drawers and doors
Use the two drawers of this wooden sideboard for smaller items such as paperwork, cables or table linen. Behind the doors, a full-width shelf provides extra storage for tableware, books, baskets and other larger items you prefer to keep neatly out of sight.
The top offers plenty of space for a table lamp, vase, books or artwork. With its practical storage and compact 120 cm width, this sideboard with drawers works well in the living room, dining room, hallway or bedroom.
Farmwood collection
For our Farmwood collection, we use recycled wood from old houses and buildings in South-West India. This includes old beams, floorboards and other wooden elements that are given a new use in furniture.
Skilled craftsmen select and work the wood while keeping many of its original signs of use visible. Cracks, knots, colour variations and previous repairs may remain part of the surface. These details show the wood’s previous life.
As every piece of recycled wood is different, each Farmwood sideboard may vary slightly in colour, grain and texture.
Material
The Farmwood sideboard is made from FSC-certified recycled wood. FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council and operates an international certification system for responsible forest management and the sourcing of wood and other forest-based materials.
The FSC Recycled label confirms that the wood comes from reclaimed sources. By reusing existing timber, the material is given a second life and less new wood is needed.
Maintenance
Wipe the sideboard with a dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products. Do not leave moisture on the wood for long periods and use coasters under glasses, vases and plant pots where possible.
