Tall Bullnose mango wood shelving unit
This tall Bullnose shelving unit gives you plenty of space for items you like to keep visible. Think of books, baskets, ceramics, plants, tableware or other home accessories. Thanks to the different open compartments, it is easy to place both larger and smaller items.
The rounded corners and edges give the shelving unit the recognisable shape of the Bullnose collection. This makes the design look a little softer than a standard straight wooden shelf.
The shelving unit measures 100 x 38 x 177 cm and offers plenty of storage space, especially in height. Looking for a lower model? A Bullnose shelving unit of 100 x 39 x 90 cm is also available.
From the Bullnose collection
This shelving unit is part of our Bullnose collection. The collection also includes dining tables, coffee tables, side tables and other mango wood furniture. The rounded corners and edges can be found throughout all Bullnose pieces.
Material
The Bullnose shelving unit is made from mango wood, a strong type of wood with a visible grain and natural colour differences. Because every piece of wood is different, each shelving unit also varies slightly in colour and wood pattern.
Mango trees are first grown for their fruit. When a tree produces fewer mangoes after around 15 years, it is replaced by new planting. The wood then gets a second life as furniture. This way, a material that would otherwise go to waste is reused.
Knots, small imperfections and colour differences are part of mango wood and belong to its natural look.
Maintenance
Wipe the shelving unit with a dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products. Use a coaster or protective mat under plant pots and vases to help prevent moisture marks.
Wood naturally reacts to changes in temperature and humidity. It is therefore best not to place the shelving unit directly next to a heater or air conditioner. Small shrinkage cracks may appear over time and are part of the natural characteristics of solid wood.
