Bullnose mango wood shelving unit
This Bullnose shelving unit is useful for items you like to keep visible, such as books, baskets, plants, ceramics or other home accessories. With a height of 100 cm, it also works well as a low open cabinet against the wall.
The rounded corners and edges give the shelving unit the recognisable shape of the Bullnose collection. This makes it look a little softer than a standard straight wooden shelf.

The collection is known for its rounded edges and simple shapes. Because we work with recycled mango wood, each piece is slightly different in colour, grain and wood pattern.
Material
The Bullnose shelving unit is made from mango wood. This is a strong type of wood with a beautiful, visible grain and natural colour differences. No piece of wood is exactly the same, giving each shelving unit its own look.
Mango wood is a by-product of mango cultivation. When mango trees produce fewer fruits after around 15 years, they are replaced by new trees. The wood from the old trees is then used for furniture. Knots, small imperfections and colour differences are part of the material.
Maintenance
Wipe the shelving unit with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products and do not leave moisture on the wood for too long. Place plant pots, vases and other items where moisture may collect underneath on a coaster or protective mat.
Wood always reacts to changes in temperature and humidity. Especially during winter, when heating is used more often, the wood may move a little more. A humidity level between 40% and 60% is best for wooden furniture.
If the air in your home is very dry, a humidifier or water evaporator can help. It is also best not to place the shelving unit directly next to a heater, air conditioner or other heat source.
Due to the natural movement of the wood, small shrinkage cracks may appear over time, especially at the ends of the wood. This is normal for solid wood and is part of the material.
