Teak dining chair with armrests
With its armrests, this Freya offers a little more support than a regular dining chair. The black leather seat contrasts nicely with the teak wood frame and makes the chair easy to combine with different dining tables.
The chair measures 54 x 45 x 80 cm and has a seat height of 46 cm. The armrests are 64 cm from the floor. We recommend measuring your table beforehand to check if the armrests fit underneath the tabletop.
Prefer a model without armrests? The Freya collection also includes a version without armrests. This leather dining chair is also available with a natural-coloured seat.
Freya collection
This dining chair is part of our Freya collection. The collection includes different dining chairs, including models with fabric, as well as garden chairs and a bar chair.
This gives you several Freya models to choose from, depending on where you want to use the chair and which version best suits your interior.
Material
The frame of this dining chair, is made of teak wood. The wood is strong and has a clear grain with natural differences in colour and pattern. This means every chair looks slightly different.
For the seat, we use black leather. Leather may show small colour differences, creases and imperfections. With use, the material slowly changes and develops its own look.
Teak has long been used for furniture and other applications where strong wood is needed. In Indonesia, a lot of teak grows on plantations. The Indonesian government controls the timber trade through a system that traces the origin of the wood. This is connected to the FLEGT trade agreement with the EU, which supports the trade of legally produced timber.
Maintenance
Wipe the teak frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning products and do not leave moisture on the wood for too long.
Wipe the leather with a dry cloth. Avoid using too much water and dab any stains dry as soon as possible. Do not rub the leather too hard.
Wood reacts to changes in temperature and humidity. It is therefore best not to place the chair directly next to a heater, air conditioner or other heat source. Small differences in colour and pattern are part of teak wood.
