Narrow wooden bench 85 cm
The slim shape makes this bench easy to use in different places around the home. Place it in the hallway, against an empty wall or at the end of the bed. It gives you an extra place to sit or to put down clothes and other items.
At 85 cm wide, this version sits between the smaller 45 cm model and the longer 115 cm bench. The different sizes can also be combined within the same interior.
Beachwood collection
Beachwood has a light wood colour with a warm undertone and a coarse, elongated grain. The finish of the collection was inspired by driftwood that has been exposed to sun, salt water, wind and waves over time.
This can be seen in the light colour, visible grain and slightly rougher texture of the wood. Each piece is shaped, checked and finished by hand while keeping as much of the natural structure as possible.
As every piece of wood is different, colour, grain and texture may vary slightly from one bench to another. Knots, small cracks and other natural marks may also remain visible.
Mango wood
Mango trees are primarily grown for their fruit. When older trees produce fewer mangoes and are replaced with new planting, the timber can be used to make furniture.
This gives the wood another use after fruit production, while the visible grain and natural variations remain part of the finished piece.
Maintenance
Clean the wood with a dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products. Do not leave moisture on the surface for long periods.
Wood naturally reacts to changes in temperature and humidity. Avoid placing the bench directly next to a radiator, air conditioner or other heat source. Small shrinkage cracks may develop over time and are part of the natural movement of wood.
