Tuvalu mango wood side table
The Tuvalu is a compact side table that works well next to a sofa, beside an armchair or in the bedroom. Use it for a book, vase, plant or cup of coffee.
The table has a round, solid shape and is made from different pieces of mango wood. This means you can see subtle differences in colour and grain across the surface. The dark finish gives the Tuvalu a calm and sturdy base.

Material
For the Tuvalu, we use mango wood. This strong type of wood often has a clear grain and natural colour differences. Because wood is a natural material, each item varies in colour, pattern and structure.
Mango wood is a by-product of mango cultivation. When mango trees produce fewer fruits after around 15 years, they make room for new planting. The wood then gets a second life as furniture. Small imperfections, knots and colour differences are part of the material.
Maintenance
Wipe the side table with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products and do not leave moisture on the wood for too long. Use coasters for glasses, mugs or plant pots.
