Thar Collection
This collection derives its name from the Thar desert in Western India. Despite the harsh environment, locals and their animals have adapted themselves to thrive in this desert. The Thar collection is a tribute to adaptation, survival, and being happy in the sun.

Materials
All Thar pieces are made from FSC-certified teak wood. The wood is being reclaimed from 150-year-old beams coming from old houses. We can proudly say that Raw Materials is one of the few companies in the European interior design industry that is itself FSC certified.

Maintenance
Teak wood has a naturally high oil content meaning that it lasts for a long time outdoors without degrading. If left untreated, with time, the teak wood will get a lovely soft grey patina. To preserve the natural teak color, we advise applying teak oil regularly. Oil also feeds to wood for protection against water and expands its lifetime.
